About Us

Riverview is a proud part of USD 232 and was established in 2002. Since opening, Riverview has impacted more than 5,000 community members in its western Shawnee residential boundaries. As a kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school, we serve a student population of over 480 and more than 300 families with over 60 full-time staff members, making a difference in our community every day.

Our mission is simple: “At Riverview Elementary, all stakeholders are dedicated to empowering each student to achieve his or her full potential.” 

Alongside our school district as a whole, we strive to prepare all students for their future through excellent, innovative learning opportunities with caring, dedicated, and passionate staff in a safe and secure environment.
