Skyward Family Access - Families have Skyward Family Access available for their use. Family Access allows parents to see current grades and other pertinent information online. For more information contact the school office or visit www.usd232.org.
The Riverview Falcon Flyer, our parent newsletter, will be posted online on the Riverview website and will include the scheduled events for the upcoming month. Upcoming events are also highlighted in a weekly Friday Skyward message to parents. Please let the office know if you need a paper copy sent home with your student.
Classroom/grade-level newsletters will be sent home at least twice a month.
PTA Communications come home on Mondays in the school folder. For additional PTA communications, visit the RE PTA Homepage here: http://www.refalconspta.org/home
Completed work will be sent home in the school folder.
The school utilizes a texting service to provide timely reminders and up-to-date information, such as school closings and school events. Receive emergency information, school closings, early dismissals and administrative reminders on your mobile device. This text and email service is free, but check with your mobile provider as text messaging and data rates may apply.

Lines of communication must remain open to achieve the goals of the educational partnership. The school has a responsibility to communicate concerns with parents and parents have a responsibility to communicate concerns with the school. Whenever parents have a question regarding their children’s academic progress, it is suggested that they first contact the appropriate teacher. If additional communication is desired, the suggested order of inquiry would be the principal or the counselor.

Voicemail and email - Messages for teachers may be delivered via voicemail or email. Typically, you may expect a return communication within one school day. Staff voicemail boxes and email addresses may be found on school websites. If parents have questions or concerns, please communicate directly with the appropriate staff member by calling or visiting the school. If concerns persist, please contact Mrs.Turpin.
Classroom Visits - To minimize disruptions during instructional time, parents are not allowed to deliver items to the child in the classroom (coats, homework, lunches, etc.) during the school day. Parents may deliver items to the office, and these items will then be delivered to the classroom when appropriate.
Parent-Teacher Conferences - Parent-Teacher Conferences are held, at a minimum, twice a year (September and February). All parents are highly encouraged and expected to attend conferences. Parents may contact a teacher at any time to set up additional conferences as needed throughout the year to discuss student progress or other areas of educational interest to the child.
If you have any questions related to the PTA or are interested in volunteering for any of PTA events, please contact the PTA at refalconspta@gmail.com.
